More than 80% of adults across the world suffer from xerostomia, a condition commonly known as DRY MOUTH. Xerostomia is the medical term for a dry mouth due to a lack of saliva. It leads to halitosis (bad breath) and a dramatic rise in cavities, as the protective effect of saliva's enamel remineralisation is no longer present, and can make the mucosa of the mouth more vulnerable to infection.
